MINK SUBMISSION Q & A

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND BOOKMARK THIS PAGE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE**

A. So you have a story or piece of fan art you'd like to see on Mink's Page? Please answer these two questions first:

1- Is it a YAOI story/piece of art? This is a YAOI archive, and archives YAOI material. (Yaoi=GAY)

2- Is it about Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers? This is a RONIN YAOI site. Yes we do post other material based on other YAOI anime and/or original YAOI, BUT that is only after an author has substantially contributed RONIN YAOI art/fic.

Have you answered yes to those two questions? Then keep reading!

Q. How do I get on Mink's Page?

If you want to become a Minkette and send in your RONIN YAOI art or fiction, you are required by Mink Law ; ) to send a scan of two forms of ID. One must have your birthdate, and one must have your photo. Both must have your name. Before you say, "HEY, I don't have any ID? This is crap!" Birth certificates, membership cards, student IDs are all acceptable.

This is to determine if you are 18 or older. EVERYONE on this page has been IDed. If sending personal address information makes you uncomfortable, feel free to black out that information before you send it. I only require birthdate, photo and name.

As of now I will no longer be taking snail mailed IDs (for art/fic submissions)
There is not a town in this country that doesn't have a:
-Kinkos
-Public Library
-College/Highschool Campus
-Office Supply Store

ALL of which have scanners practically for free, considering all you are scanning is two-forms of id. Please do not tell me your town has none of these things because unless you live in the woods, scanners are readily available.

Q. How do I submit a DJ for the Mink DJ Gallery?

A. Contact Urd-Sama. She is the Gallery Mistress and all questions or concerns regarding the Gallery should be directed to her.

Q. I have sent in my ID, how do I get Team Mink to post my stuff?

A. After confirming your ID has been received and is acceptable, and you have something to update and you wish it to be up on the page, you must do the following:

1) Save your work (in cases on a fic, save it as a word processor file complete with your italics and spell checks and anything else you feel you need on it).
Please do not attempt to html tag anything yourself, a file is just fine. The only thing Team Mink loses when converting a word processor file to a html file is the indents, so as you can see, it helps us a lot.

2) Scan your art as a gif, jpg, bmp of tiff. Save your art in an ACCEPTABLE SIZE. If you have it up on your screen and you can make out only one corner of the picture and the paper fibers on your sketch pad, there is a clue its TOO BIG. If it takes you one hour to upload it and it says it is 1.5 megs big, there is another clue it is TOO BIG.

3) E-mail your submission to Team Mink.

Q. Are there some things Team Mink won't post?

A. About Fan Art:

This website will not post Shota art. (Shota is animated/drawn depictions of child porn more or less)

Team Mink reserves the right to turn down any submission due to poor quality or other.

About Fan Fiction:

We are not your editors. We expect you to send in your fic completely spell checked and formatted.

Remember, Team Mink DOES NOT CENSOR ANYTHING, however we do reserve the right not to post anything we feel is inappropriate for the page. It would have to be something really dramatic because we haven't turned down anyone yet. (except in cases of extreme poor quality)

ALSO: NO FICTION OR FAN ART WILL BE TAKEN OFF ANY MAILING LISTS. We will only post what is sent to our e-mail.

Q. I sent in my stuff and it still isn't up. Why?

A. Well if you've sent in your ID and your fiction/art was RONIN YAOI and your stuff isn't yet up:

Please be assured, that if you have written us, we have seen it, we know you have submitted art/fic and we will respond or update as soon as we are able. There is no need for multiple inquiries, or panic. ; ) (Feel free to bother Evan though, he doesn't seem to mind)

OR maybe you didn't follow the above directions and we haven't had time to refer you back to this site.

OR in rare cases, we didn't get it due to some e-mail glitch. Use your best discretion and contact us if you suspect this is the case.

If you have a concern, or need something done in a timely manner (for instance, contest material and/or seasonally relevant submissions and/or other...) please go ahead and ask, that's cool.

If there are any of you that cannot comply to anything included in these instructions (this includes everyone on the page at this moment) please contact us and we will work something out. I am efficient, not a total ice nazi. If we didn't enjoy hosting all of your art and stories we wouldn't be here now.

The page has gotten so big that if I don't enforce these rules, Team Mink will crack and start making germ warfare devices in our basements and that can lead to nothing but national scandal, court proceedings and some guest spots on Ricki Lake.

We only ask that you do your small part so that we can keep doing it for you....
