Yes, you heard that correctly, Minkland will be out in California for Yaoi-Con once again. Look for us along side Umbrella Studios & PL Nunn for all sorts of DJs, artwork, Yaoi wear and more. (Or just stop by and say hello.^^) Haven't got your hands on the Minkland 2002 OR the 2003 DJ? Although our Minkland online shop doesn't say so just yet, we are just about OUT of both DJs even with the 2002 reprint BUT, don't worry, the 2002 DJ will be printed for the THIRD time and the 2003 DJ a SECOND time just for you guys who've missed out. Con-goers, keep a look out for our pre-ordering system so you can pick up your DJs paid in full at the con! Not going to the con? You can still pre-order and have your books shipped to you when the con goers get theirs! If we have any left afterwards we'll sell them again on our online store. Also, look out for news of the up and coming Minkland 2005 DJ. The tentative print date is now April/2005 but we'll keep you posted. It looks to be one of our best DJs yet, with comics written by Adam, Mink, Jink, Tsubaki & Evan, AND drawn by: Pluto, Emily Wilson, BeccaMing, PL Nunn, Helm, Olga & Alexis (shared website), Mirai, Zamber, Jurty & Emilytarot ! The 2005 DJ will also host other guest artists including: Ashura, Tammylee, Fablespinner, Foxysquid, Tpod, Cimmerian Willow (<--warning, pop ups) AND Jo Chen like eh THE JO CHEN!!! She has somehow and for some reason agreed to be in our book! Yeah, we don't quite believe it either but we haven't been able to believe the incredible line up of artists that have worked with us since the 2002 DJ. Keep a look out for additional artists in our updates! And finally, Minkland's Updates! Have you ever heard of The Culture Bats? An on-going comic illustrated by one of the stars Umbrella Studios, Mars! (or some may know her as Pluto) and written by Halo's Angel, depicts the turbulent lives of a struggling hawt band in Japan. It's yaoi-full and worth a LOOK. Team Mink's own Evan and Mink were quite the fans of the comic band and wrote some (a total of SEVEN) fan fix about it all, from the filthy to the hilarious... Read the comic, it's what ALL the kewl kids are doing. ~^ Evan and Mink's Culture bat fic is under their RW fiction under: Other Fiction By Whoever Team Mink- 8/23/04 The 2002 Minkland DJ is now being Reprinted!.. Our first DJ sold out quite a while ago and due to demand we got ourselves together money wise to print them again for everyone who has been writing and asking and for those you have been wishing afar ^~....You waited and you waited and here it is. It is a very limited reprint so pre-order your copy as soon as possible...Details in link below. 2003 books are still available but recent inventory told us not many left, a hand full left. If you are interested in that book I would order it now because we are not sure when the 2003 book will be reprinted. (It is geekishly two days late for Touya's animated b-day.
