CLANK. CLANK. CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CRASH!

Ryou turned his head  toward the sounds of the crash, his little tiger ears on his head nearly falling off. Kento laid in a heap of metal and cloth at the bottom of the  stairs.

"Kento, I told you, take small steps while walking in that thing." Ryou watched Sai follow down in a large Elizabethian Dress wearing a small flower crown in his aubirn hair. Sai knelt down to the fallen Knight and managed to help Kento up.

"Well, if you hadn't made me wear this thing in the first place, maybe I wouldn't have to worry about small steps." Kento face was red from the hard fall. Sai pouted a bit, sticking out his lower lip just a little. It was an action that often won many arguments between the two  lovers. Kento sighed and his face softened. "Alright Sai, I'm sorry I snapped, but why do I have to wear all of it?"

Sai put his hands on his waist. "Because it wouldn't look right for you to only wear a little of it."

Kento sighed and stared down at the floor, looking for his missing helmet.

He spotted it next to a nearby end table and frowned as he realized bending over would mean his doom. He gave Sai a pleading look. Sai smiled and bent down picking up the fallen helmet and set it on Kento's head, placing a  quick kiss on the face plate. Kento trundled to the kitchen as Sai walked over to Ryou. "Honestly, Ryou, I didn't think I ever get him into that."

Ryou gave a wry smile. "Well, Sai, it's better than what you were trying to get him to dress up as earlier."

Sai frowned a little and made an exasperating face. "I don't see anything wrong with a bunny outift. I think Kento would've looked absolutely adorable in it. I don't see why you all made such a fuss about it."

Ryou rolled his eyes and turned back to the movie, "The Mummy meets Robot Man". "Whatever Sai." Sai made another exasperated noise.

"SAI!!! How am I supposed to eat with this stupid thing." Sai sighed and made his way toward the kitchen.

Ryou shrugged and laid his head back and closed his eyes. He felt someone sit next to him and opened up an eye to see Sage dressed in a swashbuckling outfit. He was rubbing his temples. Ryou sighed but didn't open his other eye. "What's bothering ya, Sage?"

Sage looked up and shrugged. "Nothing, I just don't see why Rowen insisted on dressing up and going to this haunted house."

"Because that's what Halloween about, Sage." Ryou sat up and saw Rowen standing, his hands on his hips wearing something out of a Marvel comic.

He had a long blue cape and purple tights. A big "RS" marked the center of  the outfit.

Ryou looked smug. "What are you supposed to be?" Rowen tilted his head upwards and flashed a big grin.

"I am Rowen of Strata, Hero to all, Protector of clubs, and not to mention one hot guy!" Ryou stifled a chuckle and Sage snorted.

"Right, ok Rowen. Whatever." Ryou closed his eyes again.

"C'mon Sage. If we're gonna make it to the haunted house of doom on time we're gonna have to leave soon."

"That's the idea," Ryou heard Sage mumbled under his breath.

Nonetheless, Sage got up and he heard Sage and Rowen leave the house.

As always, Rowen left with a grand exit. "Fear not, I shall return to protect you once again!"

Ryou sat there for awhile, vaguely aware of Sai and Kento arguing in the kitchen about the possibilities of eating while wearing a face plate.  However, even that sound was blocked out as he fell asleep. He dreamt a lightless dream. One in which he saw a tall, young man  wearing only a black cape. His hair was a deep black. He had scars all  over his arms, some that were old and others that were very new.

Ryou's dreams followed this man through a deep forest into a small clearing. The man in black cape came knelt down and lowered a young women to the ground. He stayed there for a few moments looking over the women. He bent down to pick her up again and then stopped and looked at her. He seemed to reel from something and a new light shined in his eyes. He looked down at  the women to pick her up again and stopped.Ryou could see the women was dead.

The young man started shuddering and crying. He tried to pry something loose from the young woman's hand and managed to get it lose. It was a small piece of paper. The young man collapsed and laid there for most the night. It was odd for a moment. It seemed everything was on fast foward as he watched the moon sink into the ground and the sun rise above it. The young  man awoke and made a crude grave for the woman. Afterwords he said a few quick words and laid down the paper on the grave. He then walked away from  the grave his head lowered.

Ryou awoke to a loud knocking at the door. Ryou frowned and mumbled a bit expecting Sai or one of the others to get it. The knocking, however, continued and Ryou soon realized that Sai and Kento must have already left for their party.

Ryou mumbled out a quick "hold on" as he made his way to the door. He managed to get to the door with a little bit of ruckus. He grabbed a nearby bowl of "Snickers" bars and opened the door.

The bowl fell from his hands as soon as he saw a tall, young man wearing what seemed to be a long, flowing black cape.
