Save Tonight

{Sage stares out the window of his room. The sun setting turn the
sky a bright pink and then is gone. He hears someone knock on his
door but instead of answering he closes the curtains and wipes away a
few remaining tears from his cheeks. The screen zooms back to reveal
the entire room. The only light source is five votive candles.
Orange. Light Blue. Red. Green. Dark Blue. Rowen enters the room and
steps behind Sage, the archer wrapping his muscled arms in a strong
but
gentle hug. Rowen let's him go and Sage walks over to an ice bucket
next to his be and pulls out a bottle of wine. He pours two glasses
handing one to Rowen. They tap their glasses together in an unspoken
toast of Love and Friendship.}
"Oh Save tonight and fight the break of dawn.

{Sage and Rowen sit together, the wine making them a little giggly.
They stare at pictures of them shortly after the defeat of Talpa.
Kento is shown giving Sai a mock noogie, while Rowen gives Sage bunny
ears. Ryou stands there his hand gently resting on Byuken. Rowen
watches Sage as he flips through the photo album, words leaping to his
heart but not his lips. He mumbles something under his breath though
Sage is too engrossed in the album to hear.
Someday, Sage, I'll tell you someday"}
"There's a log on the fire
and it burns right before you.
Tomorrow comes with one desire
to take me away.
It ain't easy to say goodbye

Oh, Lord I wish it wasn't so"
{Ryou stands in front of a fire using the poker to keep it alive. He
let's out a sigh in memory and walks back to the couch where Mia is
sitting. She too stars at the fire but not because of memory. Ryou
sits down and turns to her.
"What did you want to talk about?" Mia takes a deep breath and
faces him, her eyes glittering with tears not yet cried.
"Do you have to leave?" She continues interrupting Ryou's response.
"I mean, you all could stay here, I don't mind. Really" Her voice
sounds desperate and broken. Ryou blinks back a few tears and shakes
his head.
"No, we can't, Mia. We have to live our own lives now. Without
the armor we no longer have the ties we used to. Haven't you noticed
how we all don't hang out as much as we used to. No, we have to
leave." Ryou's cheek glisten with tears and Mia shudders once, the
leans forward her head in her hands. Ryou puts his arm around her,
running his hands through her hair, tears unchecked running down his
cheeks}

{The screen lingers a second on the couple then makes it way to a
nearby window. Creeping outside, the screen pans to the top of the
house. Time passes and with it the sun rises signaling the beginnings
of a new day}
"Tomorrow comes to take me away
I wish that, that I could stay
But girl you know I got to
Oh, Lord I wish it wasn't so"
{Kento opens his eyes as the sun's first rays break through. He
starts to stretch and yawn, but looking down, remembers Sai whose head
lies peacefully on Kento lap. Kento strokes Sai's Auburn hair smiling
at the thin warrior below him. The smile, however, is sad and lost in
memory. Kento faces becomes firm, determined not to cry. But even
the strong warrior's face crumbles as he watches the sun touch Sai's
auburn hair giving an almost fiery color. Kento trying to stop crying
shudders once causing Sai to wake up. Sai looks up blearily and wipes
the tears from Kento's face. The screen fades as Sai sits up and
embraces the large warrior.}

"Tomorrow I'll be gone"
{The scene starts again with all five warriors, standing downstairs,
talking and smiling. Ryou and Rowen carrying their dufflebags while
Sai and Sage stand by their stacks of boxes. The guys help Sage and
Sai load up their cars and all of them head back to the house except
Sage. Sage closes his trunk and starts to head toward the driver's
side of his car. Rowen noticing Sage missing turn around. Sage looks
up briefly at Rowen and smiles. Rowen waves goodbye and Sage gets
inside and Drives off. Rowen walks back inside}
"Tomorrow I'll be gone"
{As Rowen Reenters, the remaining guys notice his somber expression.
"So sage left, eh?" Rowen nodded in response to Ryou's question.
"So I guess your leaving next huh?" Rowen shrugged and nodded.
"Yeah might as well, ya know, gotta long train ride ahead." The
warriors nod sadly in agreement. Rowen gives each of them a brief hug
and heads toward the door but stops as Ryou calls out.
"Don't be a stranger, man, gives us a call sometime." Rowen smirks
and nods.
"Doncha worry, Ryou, you'll be hea'in from me." Rowen walks to his
motorcycle, tossing the dufflebag on the back, he gives one last
glance and the old house and drives off.}
"Tomorrow I'll be gone"
{Sai and Kento stay for only moments longer both of them leaving on
the same note as Rowen. Sai before leaving gives each of them a big
hug nearly squeezing the life out the larger warriors, even Kento. As
Kento leaves he turns to face Ryou.
"So where's Mia? I figured she'd want to say goodbye to us all."
Ryou shrugs.
"I think she wanted to sleep in. She stayed up late last night."
Kento nods and gives Ryou a hug before he too leaves.}
"Tomorrow I'll be gone"
{Ryou stands alone in the large house. He takes a deep breath and
grabs his dufflebag tossing it onto his shoulder. He stands in the
doorway looking inside. Memories flood him, bringing a few more tears
to his eyes. His thoughts go to Mia last night and her question. Did
they really have to leave. Ryou shakes his head realizing that it's
too late now to ask that. He shuts the door and heads to his
motorcycle. He looks up at one of windows of the house and waves. He
let's out a shaky sigh and drives off.}

{The screen focuses on the window. Mia is standing in front of it.
Her tears glisten on her cheeks and she collapses against the window,
shuddering and crying for her loss..for their loss}
